Prefect System/ Student Council
The El Dorado East Secondary Prefect System and Student Council exists to develop responsible, ethical, and service-oriented student leaders who represent the student body, promote school values, foster student voice, and work collaboratively with staff to enhance school life. Through leadership, advocacy, and service, members help create a safe, inclusive, disciplined, and engaging school community.
Students of Forms 4, 5 and 6 are carefully selected to serve each year.
Work Internship Programme
The Work Internship Programme aims to prepare students for higher education and the workforce by providing meaningful workplace experiences that develop practical skills, professional attitudes, and career awareness through partnerships with businesses, organizations, and the wider community.
Each year, selected Form 4 students are given the opportunity to participate in internships across a range of professional sectors, including banking, healthcare, government, and politics. These placements allow students to gain first-hand exposure to the world of work, develop essential employability skills, and explore potential career pathways while learning from experienced professionals in their chosen fields.

Art Club
To inspire students to appreciate the arts, discover their unique creative voices, and contribute positively to the school’s artistic culture.
Our mission is to encourage creativity, imagination and self- expression while helping students build confidence and appreciation for the visual arts.
Through a variety of activities such as drawing, painting, sculpture, crafts and collaborative artwork, members will have opportunities to learn new techniques, experiment with different materials, and showcase their talents.

Debate and Public Speaking Club
The Debate and Public Speaking Club is a student-centred club which creates a space for students to learn, practice and showcase their skills in the art of oral presentation. Students are given tasks and engage in group activities that promote critical thinking. Respectful, argumentative and persuasive discourses allow for individual growth and group feedback as
students execute presentations using the skills taught. Opportunities to represent our school at inter- school or national initiatives are possible, once students submit to regular meetings, good school conduct and competence in debate and public speaking skills. This club is for any student who desires self- development in eloquence, deportment and confidence for personal aspirations and school or community representation.

To encourage an environment of proactive, scientific learning among students through inquiry, experimentation and problem- solving activities.
